I have been gravitating towards vegan/veggie soaps of late, primarily because I tend to have oily skin and need LESS post-shave moisturizing than my Tallow soaps provide.

Any thoughts on great vegan soaps?  Would love to find a complex scent with a strong vetiver base, but haven't had much luck.  Open to other great scents as well.

Personally Soap Commander is the best vegan soap for me. You would have to browse their scent line ups as I am not sure they do a vetiver. There are many other good ones though, Caties Bubbles springs to mind.

I also think that Los Angeles shaving soaps, WSP and Soap Commander are all great vegan shaving soaps. There are so many choices...

Route 66 is one that I haven't heard of, any idea on where it can be bought Bob?

Thanks

David, you may want to try Jabonman's Vetiver de Haiti and Tierra Humeda for Vetiver scents.
Manuel's veggie soaps are superb as are Le Pere Lucien and the rest of the soap that have been mentioned, above.
Good luck.

I haven't tried all the vegan soaps in the world, but for me it is unthinkable that any of them could be superior to Country Club for Men.  These vegan soaps are the best soaps I've ever tried, period.  My other favorite soaps are tallow-based (MW, B&M, CRSW), but this soap is at least as good.

All the other vegan soaps I've tried gravitate toward a lather that is fluffier and less dense than I prefer.  No such problem with Country Club for Men.  The scents are nice, too, and the scent strength is perfect.  Orange Blossom is amazing, if you are OK with floral scents.

Kingfisher, as user of only veggie/vegan soaps that's really useful information. I must try Country Club for Men.

Have you tried Nuavia shaving soap? And if so what did you think of it? Would be very interested to know.

I second the suggestion of Catie's Bubbles.

Other vegetable based soaps I've tried and enjoyed include:
Martin de Candre
Provence Sante

@david1201, you might be interested in the vegan formula of my Black Dragon scent. Vetiver, anise and orange are the primary components of the scent.

I can assist you in this inquiry; the Nuavia Blue I tried is superb. One of the best soaps I have every used with a wonderful scent, performance and post-shave.
However, it is quite expensive and I don't foresee myself buying it as my principal soap is just as good and much less expensive .  Shy

Thanks Celestino, probably what I need to do. Already have two of Manuel's soaps and they are excellent!

I don't know about Roots but Clean Cut is one of my favorite scents.

Haven't yet had the pleasure.  I've certainly heard a lot of good reports from people who have a lot of experience, but I haven't tried it myself.

I, highly, doubt you'll be disappointed, David! They are lovely scents and great performers. Shy

Which is unfortunate, in a way as it would be much more convenient if they could just offer refills without the coffret, so it wouldn't be so expensive. I am sure this would attract more business, but, oh, well.
Good luck to you.

2 of the top 3 for me are veggie soaps. SV and LPL. As mentioned above, Jabonman is worthy as well.
