Before I got my ATT system, I'd have said the Personna Blu without hesitation. But honestly, for whatever reason, Astras are the most consistent, followed by Feather.

I like Astra SP's in all my razors.
Agreed. I love my Merkur 34G but Merkur's blades seem to be dull straight out of the package.

Having been raised on Wilkinson's as a young dude, the quality of their blades over the years seem to have taken a nose dive. These days I lean more to Feather and Polsilver as the most consistent.

I used Astra SP...enjoyed them very much...always a consistent shave. I have since discovered Gillette Silver Blue and they are now my favourite.

GSB is consistently the best and most consistent blade for me.
The Astra SP is also consistent but at a somewhat lower level. It makes a good benchmark for all blades when adjusting for price and quality.

I liked them so much I stockpiled for the shave-apocalypse, unfortunately now I mostly use SE blades (Cobra with Kai Mild).

If you still have these blades, would you be willing to sell a box?

Thanks,
Christian

I don't get to get involved in blade threads too often because of my exclusive use of vintage ones and I earlier in this one named Personna 74s but really I never get a " bad " blade as long as the pack has made it past my initial inspection for damage. Never.
