Is potassium palmate a recently added ingredient (as in reformulation)? that will improve latherability?  The only GFT soap I've tried was Eucris which was useless .  Potassium palmate is not listed in the ingredients for Eucris.

The rule for the past 5-10 years has been, in regards to a veggie hard soap's FIRST ingredient:
Potassium Palmate = Good
Sodium Palmate = Bad

I believe the stock of these GFT soaps are from the previous generation, prior to their having Sodium Palmate first.
Rather than a batch of new, good soaps.

I suspect these are new old stock, but if the performance is anything like that of the PP versions I purchased back in 2009 [Coconut, Sandalwood], I will consider these as excellent!

I am mentioning it because (1) I'm surprised the bowls on Phil's site have lasted, and (2) I'm surprised no one else has ever mentioned the two little refills (50g) on Trumper's site.  (this wasn't news to me when I started the thread, I've actually known for a while about these 4 soaps being available on these sites per the OP.)

The two on Phil's site have been there for a while (I noticed about a year ago, but I would guess they've been there much longer than that, from when they were produced)…
I should have mentioned, I did buy the Violet bowl from him and it had a 2004-2008 date code (definitely pre-2009, but I can't recall the year exactly).  Smells, lathers, and performs beautifully.

I already had the Rose bowl long before I saw it on his site, so mine isn't from him...
However, I know (if Phil still has the stock that matches the ingredients list in OP, then) they are also from that same formulation era (as Violet, above) because that ingredients list exactly matches the Rose ones I have from that same era.

As well, the two on Trumper's site (Oxford Blue; Officer & Gentleman) have been there since I noticed them showing the ingredients (about a year, as well, maybe a little less).  I have both of these soaps (not ordered from Trumper), and they also have the exact same ingredients list as shown in the OP. Mine are both from 2007.

Before everyone gets too worked up, this veggie formula from Trumper is good, but it's not like the older tallow containing soap. Compared to the current options on the market, the potassium palmate version of Trumper is, in my experience, an adequately performing soap with an excellent fragrance (I'll take Limes or Sandalwood).

Yes...I actually have both old and new versions for the Violet and Rose shave soaps in a bowl.
