I cant hardly recommend this shaving cream.Made in Germany, and as the good german shaving creams (Speick,Florena,Anne Marie Borlind,Logonna,NIvea),with a great skin care.
This one also smells very nicely, lavender scent (fresh lavender, not sweet at all).
Some people have reported not getting good lather from it,I can tell you that I can and I brought it to my SO Cal trip, and used with a Silvertip Fibre Muhle brush, gave me an outstanding shave this morning : slick (contains olive oil),cushiony and aromatic. The post shave is very good,no dryeness of my skin at all.
Weleda uses only natural ingredients so dont worry about SLS or parabens on this shaving cream.
I got this shaving cream at Whole Foods for 9,99 the tube (75ml) but you can find it online cheaper.
Truly a hidden gem,specially if you,like me,are a lavender scent lover.

Teiste, I picked up a tube in Amsterdam a few years ago (and have since noticed it at my local Whole Foods) and agree with you that this is a very nice cream that sometimes seems to get a bad rap, though I am not quite sure why. It is one of those creams that I don't use often and then, when I do, wonder why I wait so long between uses.

I have a hardly used tube of this under the sink that hasn't been touched in over four years, maybe I'll give it another chance. I also had a bottle of the Weleda after shave balm (which was actually more of a milk than a balm). I seem to remember that it was quite good, I used all of it so I suppose it must have been.
