I have picked up some amazing Genco's and Ontario's on ebay but buyer beware. I also picked up a Mastro Livi for half the new price. Turned out to be very rare and needed to be honed but shaves great. I also found another Mastro Livi at an excellent price that once I got it I sent it out to be honed. Do your research into the manufacturer and the steel used. Know the style, i.e. hollow, wedge etc.. Check out if it is shave ready and look closely at the edge to see if it has excessive honing, nicks, rust or pitting. Lastly, if all it needs is to be honed, send it out to one of the excellent members who do that. Well worth the money.

Most vintage straight razors are of excellent quality. They had to be when they were made as the market was highly competitive. The condition of a vintage blade after all those years of use and sometimes abuse is what separates the excellent from the junk. Make sure you know how to spot those potential problems and deal with a reputable seller.

They do have a great selection they are also a very good company to deal with, although I don't have or own any Revisor razors I have many of them in for honing including their own Revisor brand and I will say they are as good as any modern made razor out there and better than most modern razors.
