So my old man got himself a black handle SS from his brother and wants to learn how to wet shave. He did his first shave today and he likes it. I had to tell him to get rid of the can shaving cream and that he needed a brush and some real shaving soap. His response "Why do I need that" "Seems like a waste of money". He came over to my place and I showed him how to make a lather and how to use a brush, his response "I like this".

I PIF him a Robert B. Scuttle, Puck of Tabac, 100 blades, and a Omega razor and brush stand.

This was cool teaching my father how to shave.

It's great when old dogs learn new tricks.

Soon he will discard that statement and thought process entirely.

I am glad that your Dad enjoyed his shave!

I gave my father a new old Yardley gift set (powder, shave soap, aftershave) for fathers day. Gave him the Yardley b/c that's what his father used. Still trying to get him to use it!

I'm glad you got your father to try!
