I hope it's ok to post this. If not, then I will take it down.

Right now on overstock.com there are 400 GSBs for $65.  Cheaper of you sign up for the free Silver rewards membership and use the 10% off coupon which equals $58.49

Also, just noticed they have 200 GSBs for $35

Also I am in no way affiliated with overstock.com. just wanted to let other members know.

They are regularly listed on eBay for $17/100 pack, just FYI.

Maybe it's just me, but I never would buy blades (or anything else, that I would think had a remote chance of being counterfeit) on eBay.
Perhaps it's just me......

I only buy stuff that's impossible to get elsewhere on the bay, like Arabian impossible to get elsewhere perfume or things that are already so cheap, that it's already a clone from China when I buy it.....

Has anyone had experiences of counterfeit blades? I know it's possible, but I didn't think that razor blades would be something that is commonly faked.

There are a couple well documented threads on the topic in another forum, including a link to a chinese webpage that allows someone to purchase blades in high quantities with whatever major manufacturer packaging desired.  There is another thread about someone who received what are clearly counterfeit Polsilver SI blades from West Coast Shaving, so it is possible and eBay is not the only place you need to be worried about.

I've bought blades from eBay before with no issues. That being said just about anything these days can be counterfeit. Just have to know what to look for or buy from Bullgoose and save you the worry.

Even If the seller is reputable?

I haven't bought so far blades from ebay but I don't see any reason not to do it if friends of mine have already bought from a specific seller and they're satisfied.

I've had great success buying Polsilvers and GSBs on eBay. Just make sure to look at seller's feedback

I have successfully bought GSBs and Nacets on the bay.  Given a similar price between the bay and Amazon, I'll pick Amazon every time.  Plus usually free shipping as a prime member.

I have only tried 2 or 3 of these blades and when they last they do well plenty sharp and smooth, but from the few I have tried I can only get 2 really good shaves (both head and face .. IE more surface area than just face), the 3rd one starts to be rough and leaves some irritation and the 4th (only tried it once) was very rough and some blood was spilled.

Is this just me, my skin, or bad blades? do you guys get a lot of good shaves from them?

I get shaves out of them before I toss it out.  That's with just 2 pass shaves with minor touch ups.  I tried 6 onces and I was rewarded with some blood.
