Sadly, I am letting go of my recently purchased Ikon Modern. I purchased this brand new and have shaved with it three times. It's a bit mild for my liking, so it's time to pass it on.

I paid $209 two weeks ago, so I'm selling for $180 shipped CONUS. I think it's fair for such little usage. I will include the leather travel pouch that it came with.

This is a two piece razor.

I will give it a barbicide bath before shipment.

If this sells between 7/15 - 7/23, I will be unable to ship until 7/24. I will be on my honeymoon!

Thanks for looking.

Modern is sold!

I think this is a fair price for a razor that retailed for $225 and is also

1. out of production
2. will never be made again
3. was produced in limited numbers

but what do I know. Rolleyes

I don't think you know much. All you did was design and build it hehe Biggrin
It's a wonderful shaver and a piece of art.

Good luck with your sale! There was a time I was upset because I missed out on the earlier razors Greg made, particularly the IKON interpretation of the NEW Standard open comb floating head. Then I was able to obtain a Big Boy Deluxe, a Tuckaway 2 piece head, and two silver plated NEW Standard razors. And I was pretty happy with the Big Boy Deluxe and the Barbasol floating head, until the Cobra Classic got my attention. Now, the question is very simple. Do I continue using my straight razors and Barbasol in rotation with the Cobra, or will I eventually just use the Cobra.

I've had a Big Boy, Tuckaway, and New Standards and they don't even compare to the OC Bulldog to me. The shave is effortless and smooth and it along with the iKon Standard and the Tradere are the 3 best razors I own. I can't quite put my finger on it and I'd guess its the added weight of the stainless steel, but I haven't used a single vintage open comb since I got the Tradere and the OC Bulldog.

I am using the Bulldog handle and swaping a square groove older Tech head and a New Deluxe head. Probably should try some of the other and wished I had bought a iKon head from Greg.

Johnny, if I had that kind of money laying around, I'd keep it!

Still up for grabs.
