I have a Wade & Butcher Wedge with a VR stamp from 1837 to 1901. It has a wedge profile with a butcher notch, with snake pattern scales. I was going to use it as my daily shaver, but could not get used to the feel of a straight razor. I would not consider this shave ready as I feel it will need to get honed once more. I had it honed back when I first got it (April 2015) and have only stropped it before each use. I now know that I am a DE guy. So now I am looking to trade it for a nice 2 band brush, a DE razor that I do not have or sell it for $125.00. This is my first sale post but I have communicated with members to get the proper information. If I have not stated correctly anything on this post please send me a message via PM.
SOLD!!!

Perhaps you don't like the stiffness of a wedge or the edge was not optimized. Don't give up straights without trying a properly honed full hollow. If I had to shave with a wedge everyday I would not be happy either.
