Well as usual in the winter or colder months I grow the ole beard and mustache out!  So that said, the str8's get the winter off for the most part to what I refer to as their vacation!  Anyone else do this totally or do you use them to trim up?

I have a Norelco 9300 series electric I use to do the neck and trim work during this time.

Previous years I didn't so much grow a beard, as just didn't shave much during colder months. At my current entertainment level of discovery I will be clean shaven until I get bored trying new-to-me products.
Not sure if I'm interpreting it correctly, is this a 3017 issue?

It's getting brisk here with our odd weather in Southern California, but not enough to bench my straights until Spring. Wink

I'm clean shaving everyday.  Nothing like a fresh shave, some Floid Blue, and stepping outside to the 15F weather.  It will wake you up.

I have always said that Proraso green is great in summer but awesome in winter.

I can't imagine not shaving every day. It's become such an enjoyable part of my day that I just wouldn't want to give it up.

Not giving it up, just growing the facial mug out and the need not there until I shave it off and stay clean shaven for the warmer months.  This gives me time to spruce up the blades and get water oxidation marks off and lube them and let them have a break.
