Well, what do you think? Will I finish it by the end of the year? It's getting pretty close. Have to confess, I didn't think such a feat was possible. I have heard that there are guys who have actually emptied a jar, but never met one or had first hand knowledge of such a person.

Having emptied three (!) jars of soap in my time as a wetshaver, as well as two tubes of cream, I think you might get to the bottom of things before the end of the year... load deeply Tongue

Load heavily.  Who doesn't like an extra thick, creamy lather?  You can do it!

If you break out a Chubby 3 maybe.  Dont be in a rush to finish something.  Enjoy each shave.

I commonly use a puck of soap from start to finish.

My question is how do you like the Baume.be shaving cream after using an entire tub? Is it all it's cracked up to be?

Just scoop it up with your index finger, rub it on your face and commence lathering! You'll have it finished in 2-3 days! Biggrin

Try a Kent BLK8.  Mine eats product like a starving dog gulps down a ribeye.

Yep, it is for me.  Outstanding performance, very moisturizing, lather is a dream to make.  Only negative is the scent—not great in my opinion, but not unpleasant.

The scent is what has prevented me from trying it. Scent is too important for me to overlook regardless of performance. What does it smell like? I haven't read any detailed scent descriptions for it. I figure I might like it because a lot of people can't stand or simply don't like the scent of XPEC but I actually enjoy it.

In that case, load some and eat some -- you will be done by the end of your next shave! Smile lol

Many years past my Grandfather was hired to inspect the Hollywood Hills bungalow once owned by Errol Flynn. The property was overrun with hard chaparral and a crew came in to clear the lot. After several encounters with buzzworms a midden of emptied, cheap whiskey bottles was piled so thick out one back window a bulldozer had to remove it. the bungalow was such a shambles it was soon bulldozed too.
Years later I did an archaeological survey just off the 101 Freeway. This grad student got all kinds of excited, convinced she had found a major pottery making site. The crew rushed over, skeptical as California first people's basketry is the finest ever made. They became excited, thinking it was probably a Californio potterymaking center ( several miles above the L.A. River's headwaters in cement hard caliche soil). I walked over laughing. It was an old trap and skeet range once owned by actor Robert Stack and they were all busily plotting broken clay birds.
Many beaches hold massive middens of seashells consumed over millennia by ancient peoples.
Pace yourself, toss the empties outside your bathroom and leave a legacy.

You're correct, Johnny.  I can indeed do it.  And, I bet I do it well before December 31.

Also, as you can see, I finally found a use for my ugly Christmas sweater! (sadly, I have to put it on later for the dinner)

I do not think this is a particularly polarizing scent. It is a pretty easy one to get on with. I find it similar to Davidoff Cool Water EdT

CONQUEST.

Yes, I did it.  You guys had faith in me, and I didn't let you down.  You knew I could do it, and I did.  I actually finished it yesterday, but just took the pic this morning.

Happy New Year!
