I'm thinking about an aftermarket handle for the Mach3. These two have caught my eye:

From Shavemac. And this:

The Bolin Webb.

I have no idea how they might fit, if they're slippery when wet, etc. Same goes for the Jagger and Harris versions (if still offered). Anyone familiar with any of these? Other suggestions?

Any and all of them are an improvement from the stock handle....another way to change the stock handle is to use heat shrink tubing on the handle and you can also buy adapters from the "GoldenNib" which will let you use pretty much any razor handle you have or even make your own

Thanks for TGN link. That's certainly one option I'll look into.

I never could shave daily with the Mach-3, always ended up with red irritated skin. Two blades are my limit. The Bolin Webb looks pretty cool

Got the Bolin Webbly-wobblies again: the Jet Black is calling, but jeez, the price. Any BW owners, please speak up.

I use my Bolin Webb black-silver Fusion for shower shaves (mostly head shaves and TOO MUCH INFORMATION shaves)

Works far better than stock handle. But not among my favourite after market Fusion handles. But still very nice quality relatively well priced handle option:

Claus, the X1 handle is nice; going by the photos I've seen it looks a bit shorter than the Mach handle (?) Compared to your carbon fibre custom, etc., I can understand why the BW doesn't top your favorite's list.

As for the Pils, I've seen the Mach3 version and it looks great, but the price is a little above my pay grade.

Take a look at the shavemac website in the Configurator section.  Remember that the posted prices include 19% VAT, which is deducted at check-out if you're outside the EU.

I just ordered this one (in black) from Shavemac . . .

. . . and expect a Bolin Webb won't be far behind.
Good point, Bryan. Shavemac is the least expensive way to go on these.

I'm thinking about having Bob Quinn make me a custom Mach 3 handle from one of his many beautiful resin or stone materials.

I agree. It's nice seeing what's out there. I notice there are a lot of artisan handles for cartridges on etsy while browsing DE handles.

I liked my Edwin Jagger handle - big improvement.  I always wanted a Bolin Webb flag handle.

Look on Ebay, there are some lower priced Bolin Webbs. I'ed like to have the Red one, and I really like the black stand that the razor rests on. Wish they made it for the Sensor.

Those Bolin Webb razors are sharp.  Do any U.S. vendors carry them?

Bolin Webb ones fit in the hand magically. I love my Mach and fusion ones.
