I got a tube of 444 in the mail from Portugal, and used it for the first time yesterday. I wet my face with cold water after the shave, and squeezed a 1 inch long stripe out of the tube. Applied it to my wet face. I have to say, I was a little disapointed. I thought it was going to be a freezing experience, based on what I have read about it. But it wasn't. Perhaps my expectation was to high

Not tried it with a spalsh. I've read some uses a peasize amount of 444, and some says that too little for the freezing effect. So I used a bit more the a peasize since I like the tingeling feeling
Have a Proraso AS splash coming my way. Will think the 444 and the Proraso will be a good match?
