Recently I checked out DAXAL cosmetics who used to supply supermax creams in the past, first the design of the box looks modern and complex artwork the tube is laminated plastic tube and 105g, it contains tea tree oil and allantoin, I read that its moisturizing and refreshing also protective, I haven't tried this and never seen on local markets in shaving item section, yet.

It would not sell since indian products are no longer popular on the boards any longer.

Caustic Soda, Caustic Potash...The Chemistry of Soap! Sweet! My grandmother used both of those to make her soaps...this is heat cured soap! They add the Soda then the Potash and heat it until the Soap neutralizes pH, and then they add the oils to "cook"...Borax is just a Base used to decrease the pH to a more alkaline, so the Fats don't leach out. I'd be interested to give it a go, or to hear about your experiences!

BTW...MdC is also a heat processed soap, and uses both of these ingredients...Imagine if we found MdC in a Tube from India! it would be Shaving Nirvana, literally!
