Looks like it's my time!

I've indicated I want the mirror polish, but I'm having second thoughts.

Can anyone share some pics of the two finish options, please?

Ha! Nice idea, but I generally crave uniformity.

Then just brushed. Polished is nice but i feel brushed has a more modern easy to maintain look

Is there any performance difference between the two or is it solely an aesthetic difference?

I imagine it's essentially cosmetic. There is a difference in the coefficient of friction across different metals, but its largely unnoticeable IMO.

The additional (UFO) handles I might pair it with are all polished, hence my original gravitation towards polished again.

I'd really like to see the WRH7 handle in both versions (brushed and polished), I believe that would assist me greatly in concreting an opinion...

I thought it would be entirely cosmetic but I've read in a few places that the friction is noticeably different between these two versions. Unfortunately I can't quite recall which is supposed to more easily glide. I'd certainly do some series research before requesting one in titanium, assuming the same option is available in that material.

Ben,

Here is a shot I have of the mirror finish that I got on mine. I think James' mirror finishing is the best I have ever seen and it truly adds to the beauty of the razor. [Image: V5zHjDp.jpg]

That is one of the most beautiful razor photos I've ever seen lol. The Wolfman logo is awesome. One question though... Why is there an exclamation point on the razor that is on the right? What does that stand for?

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. The ! is to denote that the Wolfman has been modified to the .74mm blade gap. I call it the WR(!) for short or the Achtung (h/t to Ravi) Wolfman.

Whoa seriously? I had no idea the Wolfman's specs could be modified, especially to make it more aggressive. Now I have to get on that damned list lol. My one worry about picking up a Wolfman was that it wouldn't be aggressive enough for me.

+1. I ordered brushed simply because I have hard water and it will be easier to maintain.

Before someone beats me to it...welcome to the Wolf Pack. Biggrin

I don't have a brushed head but here are some quick mirror finished pics of mine for you. I like how the handle reflects in the bottom plate. Smile
Any spots or specs are from morning shave. Only gave it a cursory wipe down.

I got the polished because my ATT is brushed. I'm glad I ordered the polished.
