It has been awhile since I last owned an injector razor and I was wondering where you guys buy your blades (besides Ebay). I used to buy the Chinese made Schick injector blades from drugstore.com but was wondering if perhaps there was a better source. Now that I have a few new injectors in the rotation, I will need to stock up. Cool

That's the only kind I use Phil. I've got some vintage ones that I've never tried (the darn loader is broken off the holder).

So drugstore.com is still a good source?

Yes. They look like the same blades I buy at my local grocery store. They're $5.99 here for a pack of 7.

Yes sir, I buy my blades from right here.

Schick Blades
You know Phil, I know a good vendor on the west coast that should sell these blades. He would be the only vendor that does. Smile

I have thought about it but have not been able to find a wholesale source for them. The one source I did find was not enough below retail to make it profitable. I'll keep looking.

Honestly, I just buy them from the store. They're a little bit more expensive, but me buying a pack or two a month guarantees they'll keep them in stock.

I have not seen the Schick injector blades in the stores here. If they had them I would probably buy them there since I won't go through all that many injector blades in a year.

One store chain carries them here and I see them in every one of their stores. It's $5.99 for a 7 pack and after taxes its, $6.50. Actually, that's what made me want to try my first injector. I saw some at a store, came home did some research and bought an injector off eBay. I bought 3 packs the first time because I wasn't sure if they'd continue to carry them.

Hi Dave. Would you mind sharing what store that is, especially if they also have locations near Nashville? Thanks!

Food City (I'm sure there's not one in Nashville). I have never seen them anywhere else.

I swore I seen them in a store once here locally, but I cannot, for the life of me, remember which store...and the stores I thought I saw them in, didn't have them.

if you could find a supplier, or buy them cheap enough to turn some profit, you might be able to supply the injector market. I'd certainly buy my blades from you and I'm sure Johnny would too, since we only use injectors to shave.

Do you have a Wegmans there? I remember seeing on some forum where Wegmans was closing out their injector blade supplies. I have now tried the vintage blades that came with one of my injectors and while they are a bit better than the Chinese ones, they're not better enough at least to me to justify the extra costs.

We do not have any Wegmans here...the only drug stores are Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, Target and a handful of independents.

I've seen Injector blades at the Fred Meyers in central Oregon, but not at the Freddy's near Portland. Go figure.

I have recently bumped into http://www.razorbladeco.com/category/16-...lades.aspx - Razor Blade Company. If I understand correctly (because this appears amazingly inexpensive) - 20 Blades per Dispenser, 12 Dispensers per Carton - $37.00, coated injector blades. Worth checking.

I'm surprised Connaught has not been mentioned yet. http://connaughtshaving.com/injectorblades.html The lower number is what we Americans pay since we don't pay VAT tax.
