Barrister & Mann Toniques are amazing for my skin.

The Latha aftershave is also really good for when I want to avoid an alcohol based splash.

For a balm the only one I will use is from Soap Commander.

I have the Cologne Russo, but it doesn't really do anything for me. Nor, is there any staying power.

Different skin chemistries I guess. I have oily skin and the Toniques leave my face feeling soft and supple without any drying. Scent longevity is also very much chemistry dependent. Cologne Russe doesn't last as LO on my skin as Le Grand Chypre does. Neither of those last as long as Leviathan though.

I have very oily skin as well. So I hear you on that. I usually am able to have staying power with most things, but the Russo doesn't last and doesn't seem to offer any thing as far as skin properties. I want to give B&M the benefit of the doubt though.

Pitralon has been excellent! The Classic and the Polar. Clubman works good too, but can be kinda drying every now and then.

Balms are OK, but end up making me look and feel to shiny.

Must be different chemistries then. What you say about the Barrister & Mann Tonique is how I feel about Pitralon.

Must be YMMV. I have a similar skin type and B&M splashes work well for me too.

You really should. It's one of the best on the market IMO and really seems to heal the skin (probably due to the aloe and essential oil ingredients).

Seems to go pretty quickly when available. Looks like I will need to be quick on the trigger!

Yup. It was sold out for the longest time and I looked for it everywhere. One day around 2 am I randomly checked their website and found it in stock. Naturally I bought a bottle.

I got it from their official website (or Etsy maybe?). They had a link to it on Facebook some time ago.

I won't claim Derby City's bourbon-infused tonic has taken over top spot from my Dominica Bay Rum Lime, but both it and the alcohol-free Bey Shave are the best aftershave purchases I've made since the Dominica, and I could live with any one of them if it came to that. From first splash to post-shave, this thing is a thoroughbred.

My favorite is Panama 1924. Got it as a gift back in 2009 and I still buy and use it all the time.
