Signs011  I'm working on picking up new scents that break the bank.

I don't have much of a collection, so it's quite easy:

Pinaud Clubman
Florida Water
Pinaud Lime
Pinaud Lime Musk

Clubman, Lucky Tiger, Tabac for me, but I like a lot of them.

I am prohibited from using the regular Speick.  My wife informs me that it carries the aroma of a homeless drunk's singed armpit hair.  So, that's out.

Fine with the Veg though.

Maybe that's a way she's trying to tell you she likes that scent.  Laughing1

I have a bunch of great aftershaves in the rotation:  Floid Blue, Derby Chop Shop Winter Reserve, Dominica Bay Rum, Speick, Krampert's Finest, B&M (Taiga, Oceana, Cool, Classic, Hallows), Wm Neumann (Heartwood, 1911), Cryogen…  Smile

As much as I enjoy my Floid Blue, I can honestly say I use one more than any of the 50 ish I own, and it's Pinaud classic scent

A dime sized blob of Nivea for Men Sensitive Skin After Shave Balm with a couple drops of the cologne of the day blended together. Usually Tabac, but not always.

All around (best performer/scent combo) - having a hard time not saying Blackship.

They smell great, and are chock full of great stuff for your face.

Hi Brad (22bulldog),

Thanks. I've been looking for good Aftershaves that aren't chock full of chemicals. I looked up Blackship after your post... Witch Hazel, Aloe, Vitamin E, it has me intrigued. Smile

If I may ask, what are your favorite scents to recommend? What have you tried? (They have like 20 different scents I think.)

I'm looking for something not too overpowering.

Currently enjoy Krampert's Finest Bay Rum Acadian Spice (so clean, simple, pure).

Thanks!

I have by no means tried them all, but I will give you (3) that I have tried and enjoy quite a bit:

Two Bits - clean, fresh barbershop.  Can pair with anything from CAD to CRSW American Barbershop

Thomas Tew - citrus explosion (orange dominant), fantastic scent

Shipwreck Cove - aquatic cologne scent, lot of people compare to Cool Water

I would put the performance and post shave feel of his splashes up there with any aftershave, and he has a wide range of scents. Also, his balms are very, very good.  Good Luck!   Thumbup
