Years ago I used Barbaso canned cream.   I still use it on rare occasions when I have to shave very quickly.  There is always a can of it in my den, but it lasts a very long time.  Last year I was at the grocery store and saw this Limited Edition Barbasol released to coincide with the release of Jurassic Park.  It seemed like a novel item and was only $1.69, so I got it.  Now this limited edition shares my shave den with my Simpson LE's.  This piece is so valuable that I will not be using it.  Ever.

I had a lunch pail in 6th grade with the Addams Family. My mom threw it out when I enlisted.

Haha, lovely collectible. I don't know if this fella would get on well with LE Simpsons, though.

No!  It's a normal shave cream can.  I also thought it was a cool novelty item.

I had one that was from the The Addams Family cartoon which must have been on sometime in the late 60's early 70's.  I should see if my mom still has it.

I remember the matching thermos bottles which came with the old, square, metal  lunch boxes.

That's funny Ben.  The store did not have that one in stock, or I would have bought it also.

I looked at the Barbasol website and there are 7 different types of Barbasol.    Maybe there is a different Jurassic Park design for each of the 7 types.  If so, it would be a challenge to get a complete set.

Are you ridiculing my new collection of Barbasol LE's?

Clever post Ben.

Maybe you took me too seriously Ben.  Of course I knew you were kidding.  It's a cool novelty and shows how far this "limited edition" thing has gone.

I knew you were kidding Ricardo!  Biggrin

It would have been very cool if Barbasol had have dyed their shave cream "dino green" in those LE cans!

I checked and they're available on eBay.  I'm getting the green Soothing Aloe version.  Thanks for bringing it to my attention Ben.  A cool addition to the shave den, although not quite at the same level as your brush collection.
