OK - looking for a good decent lasting, not impossible to get Lime A/S splash.

I like Castle Forbes Lime, and the ASB. I want a Lime A/S Splash or cologne/Edt to follow - the CF one is very hard to find.

Various bay rums (notably Dominica Bay Rum Lime) follow it well, but lack staying power.

I understand Royall Lyme used to be good, but am hesitant because the more recent reviews indicate the formula and/or place of manufacture have changed, affecting the product's quality.

Pussers Lime is no longer available that I can see.

Anyone know a good Lime Splash with a bit of staying power?

I've only tried Royall Lyme, and while it is OK, I too would love to find a better lime aftershave and or EdT.

To me D R Harris Arlington smells like lime. It's way more complex than just lime but it smells fantastic and is a great summer aftershave. Booster Iced Lime is nice for the price but don't expect much for healing with that one.

I find Arlington to be much more lemony to my nose, no lime at all.

I have never found a Lime scent that has lasted over 30 minutes. If you find one let us know, would like to try it myself

About a year ago I asked this same question on the old website. I wanted a lime AS that smelled like limes, not like lime candy. Phil and a few others suggested TOBS Victorian limes and Trumpers Extract of Limes. I think the general concensus was TOBS was good, but Trumpers was better. I tried the TOBS and was very happy with it. The staying power was better than anything I tried. I have not tried the Trumpers yet but plan to.

Exactly - not lime candy. Limes. Some bay rum is fine, but Limes. Otherwise, I do like Captain's Choice (no lime) and Dominica (no holding power but lime).

The Trumpers and TOBS sound promising. Lets see what other suggestions are out there -

The Geo. F. Trumper West Indian Extract of Limes has an excellent scent but, at least on me, the scent is virtually gone in less than five minutes.

West Indies Bay Co. has a West Indian Limes cologne that's quite nice. I imagine the AS splash would be good, too.

On me too. I think that is true of lime scents in general.

[b]I do not like sweet Lime scents and after much experimenting I now use St.Charles Shave Lime Splash. Lasts about 3 hours on me and the price is excellent. I think about $11.00 to $14.00 for 4oz. They also have great sample vials. You have to order online.

I have always meant to try the St. Charles aftershaves but have not yet gotten around to it. I do hear good things about them.

Welcome to The Nook Littlemax!

I went through the T&H sampler and their West Indies Lime was one of my least favorites. It smelled like Fruit Loops to me, but that was also only the balm and cream, maybe the splash is better.

I don't like the scent of the cream as well but the splash smells really different. It's a dry and spicy lemon scent.
