We have all probably heard of the Desert Island challenge - If you were stuck on a desert island and could only take one razor, one brush, one type of blade, and one aftershave - what would it be? I will start things off with my desert island setup:

* Razor: BBS-1 - As much as I love my Wolfman WR!, if I was on a desert island I would take the BBS-1 as I can do 3-4 passes everyday and not get any kind of irritation or weepers. Plus being on a desert island, I would not have anything to do so I could take my sweet time and do a 3 pass shave everyday.

* Brush: M&F 2XL Finest - just the perfect amount of backbone,softness and flow through.

* Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium - just works for me

* Soap: Savonniere du Moulin - a scent that I would not get tired of as it just smells like soap is supposed to and the performance is
out of this world.

* Post: Floid Blue - again like the soap above this just smells like an aftershave should smell like. Great skin conditioning properties as well.

I think I would be content with shaving the rest of my days with the above setup if my only companion was a beachball named Wilson. How about you guys?

I am still relaxing on my 'desert island' with the same set up I have been using for the past 5 years:

* Weber DLC + UFO handles
* Iridium Supers
* Mystic Water soaps
* Unrefined Shea Butter

My brush is my sole variable and completely indecisive as I just have too many lovely choices and I could never choose just one. By for any consolation, it would have to be a nice 2-Band with good backbone. Biggrin

One scent only and yes endless supply of blades. I like the travel case in choice, just to keep everything together.

Yeah I didn't think about the water temperature. I guess if I wanted to shave with warm water I would have to get some water in a cocunut and leave it in the sun for a bit. It would be interesting to see how the salt water would work in getting a lather going.

I don't think it would work very well, but remember that if you only have salt water available, obtaining a nice shave would be the very last of your worries Tongue.

Here's my list:

ATT S1
Astra Blades
PannaCrema Nuavia Blu
Derby City Chop Shop Aftershave

I'd take along a bay rum of some sort so I can ask, "why is the rum gone?" when the bottle is finished.

No clue. I mean, I'd let the beard grow pretty crazy, and needed something smooth to shave my head, daily!
Do, here goes:

The new ATT bronze (if I win it)
Supermax Titanium
My Custom Klovgren made HMW brush
MWF
Kramperts finest Bay rum
