I did not find these blades terrible. A 3 pass bbs result with no irritation and one nick due to technique. I rather like them. Will have to see what the second blade has in store.

I've tried about 30 blades over the years, but never a carbon steel one.  I have to try these.

I was surprised too, when I tried them. From the reviews I saw, I thought they were going to cut me up, but they were pretty good. Yeah, they rust, but I think I got three shaves out of them before that happened.

I wonder why carbon steel blades survive to this day.

This is another brand I have yet to try. I've used around 15 different blades and have found 5 or so that I really like so kinda stopped the search. One of these days I'm going to have to order a variety pack including Treet as I have always wanted to try em.

I live in Miami, so I wonder how fast these would rust here.  I only use blades once or twice.  Here, however, these may rust in one day.

SS is a lot more expensive from the raw stock to manufacturing. You will find carbon blades from such sources as India. Rust can be slowed by a VERY hot rinse of water- as in boiling and air drying.

Yes, but the Treet Classic don't seem to be priced significantly lower than the lower priced stainless blades.  Perhaps in other countries the Treet Classic prices are indeed lower than stainless blades.

Seriously? Blades will rust that quickly there? I had no idea

Are these the black blades or the silver blades?

There are too many Treet blades out there!

The black ones I had were very nice. A very sharp and smooth blade. Good for me for 3 or 4 shaves but that's it. Once they were done they were done. No coaxing an extra pass out of one that was spent at all.

Interestingly it looks like they are calling a few different version Classic now.

Not worth the price, but fun to try I thought.

Sorry but I found no treat in the Treets! Wish I could have with them being as inexpensive as they were.

Carbon blades rust during the shave in my hard water. Quite scary actually. Glad we keep our filters changed regularly.

I can't speak for the Treet classics, but I recently bought 100 of the Treet silvers.  I really like them.  I would compare them in sharpness to my Voskhods.  I have yet to get any nicks, cuts, or irritation from them.  I think I paid $10 on the bay.

It was tugging my beard too much for my liking. I only had the 1 blade too. I would have no problem using Treet blades for 2 shaves max.
