My only question now is, Who the hell is Tom Estes? Am i supposed to change my name or try to find him?

You can find good blades for it at Connaught Shaving.

Does it have some random guy's name on the handle?
The picture on Ebay failed to show that side of the razor.

I know Tom. Just send the razor to me and I'll be sure it's taken care of. Wink

Nice razor!

Nice razor!

Clever. Do I dare use those blades that came with it?

I buy my Schick blades at my local Lowes Food, try your local supermarkets. You can find them on Amazon or Connaught Shaving. Enjoy your new razor!

You can get blades on eBay or buy them where I do at drugstore.com

I would not use the blades that came with it and I would soak it good in alcohol before I used it.

Nice razor. I'd love one of those but don't know enough to get one at a good price via ebay. Anyway, I hope you enjoy yours.

No name on mine Dodgy

I purchase Personna injector blades from Sally's Beauty Supply. I also see them at CVS and sometimes Walgreens.

That cleaned up beautifully. As for the personalization, I kind of like that, occasionally, on razors (or fountain pens, something else I have an AD for) because it adds just that much more history to the piece. Who was that person? What did he or she do for a living? Is the person still alive? And so on. For me, it brings the piece to life and makes it more meaningful.

Nice work. Scrubbing bubbles works wonderfully on those old injectors. Stay away from MAAS and the like - it will remove the finish - Injectors arent' quite as durable as the plated brass Gillette razors.

As for blades - Amazon sells them - on the east coast we have very large grocery stores called Wegmans that also sell them. There's also Ted Pella, EMS and the 'bay, as well as various vendors including razorbladesandmore.

That really looks nice, she cleaned up well. After a few shaves with her , spend the money and get a pack of old Schick Blades.

Tom Estes is the guy who almost never used your new Schick Injector razor!

I get my Schick injector blades at the local Bi-Mart here in Oregon - $6.99 for 7 blades. That's a buck a blade, but I get 7-10 DFS's from each blade.

This pic is amazing. I have the same series E Injector and I actually thought that the finish is supposed to be "grainy" and not smooth like the other series Injectors that I have.

I'm wondering if I should try some Scrubbing Bubbles as well but I am kind of afraid.

Shave well with it! It's an amazing razor IMO.
