The latch on my King Cobra has loosened and as a result I'm often miss loading the blade (only one tab stays engaged, causing a slant like blade exposure).

I don't have a hex key (aka allen key) small enough.

Does anyone know what size hex key I need?

I just checked, I have two sets of Allen keys and one had the right size for the regular Cobra Classic. Unfortunately all the sizes are worn off of the plastic holder BUT i believe it's a 0.7 hex size maybe 0.9
I believe the keys that come in a folded blade type knife don't have sizes this small, smallest on those is 1.5 I believe.
What you need Ben is a set similar to the one in pic below and make sure they have sizes smaller than 1.5. Hope that helps!

Edit- I am talking metric sizes here.. Just to clarify
