This is basically a Stirling Kong with a makeover correct?

Looks to be that way. I have the Stirling Kong, and they look eerily similar

Now they even copy the cheap synthetic brushes  Rolleyes

But as long as they keep their prices below the competition, the consumer is winning  Smile

If the density is anything like the original Razorock Plissoft knot, it is nothing like the Stirling Kong.

Could quite possibly be made by the same manufacture. At the price, who cares?

Is that to say that the RR or Kong is denser?

That material looks ugly. Wish they've done it black again but that would be the exact copy of Kong then. Shame, fantastic brush, fantastic price, but very very ugly.

I don't hate the handle, but I would go a different direction for a brush like this. I'd take a page out of Whipped Dog's book, and just offer regular colors. A nice blue would be a good look for a synthetic, IMO.[Image: 06cf30ddab881e4e3b4f0057e891e9a3.jpg]

Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder.  I was thinking it looks really nice.  I will not purchase it because I cannot stand the Kong.  I don't know if it is the handle or the knot or a combination, but I really like what they did with the handle.

Yes, absolutely true. It's very personal and I didn't mean to disrespect. Smile

My thoughts exactly.  The Kong is becoming my favorite brush.  Too bad I'm on sabbatical.  If anyone picks up The Monster and doesn't like it, send me a PM and I'll trade you for a 30mm Whipped Dog Synth.

Does anyone have a Monster yet? I'm curious how the handle material looks in person.

I have the Kong but if the knot is denser then I'm tempted by this brush.

I ordered this brush on 10th February and I haven't received it yet. I have to say that this was the first and the last time I made an order from Italian Barber. I contacted the vendor and responded like this is normal and he said that I have to wait, because shipments to Europe arrive after 20 business days and some of them after two months of the shipment. Well, this happens only with his shipments and I am really frustrated. I didn't expect that delay, usually I receive overseas packages after 8-10 business days. Luckily, it's not something expensive.

That's unfortunate, Italian Barber has sent me every order within a week of placing an order. I've placed 7 orders with them over the past 2 months.

I would contact Italian Barber and ask them. This brush is a really great brush, especially for the price.

I did, but I wasn't very satisfied by their response. They think that this is normal.  If it comes, it comes. The cost is too low to continue discussing with an uncooperative vendor.

I received the brush a few days back, and find both the knot and handle to my liking. I used it Saturday. Excellent synthetic.
