Hello all,

I'd like to ask for your help with a problem I have with a Gillette blue tip .
When the doors are closed everything looks fine and the handle is attached snugly to the razor head.
When I begin to twist the blue tip to open the doors, the whole head begins to spin and a gap is created between the base of the head and the edge of the handle.
Have you got any ideas how this is happening and, maybe, a possible solution ?
Thank you in advance gentlemen.

The aluminum handle has corroded away and its connection with the brass guard (nickel plated) is no longer intact. You can't solder / braze aluminum, so really you can try to epoxy it. Make sure you use something that works on aluminum.

hope that helps-

Thank you so much for the reply. Could you please clarify "brass guard" ? English is not my mother tongue. Thanks again.

the "guard" is the piece of metal that touches your face. It is connected to the handle.
