Here is my gear. So far I have a Merkur 23C, Two Razorock razors with one with the Super Knurl handle and the other with a Maggart handle, a Scotch and Stowe, A Parker 92R Butterfly DE Razors. A Razor MD Fusion Handle (I use this to shave my head as I am not yet confident enough to use a DE). My brushes are a silvertip Red,white and Blue custom made (Johns Brushes on ETSY) , Razor MD Pure Badger, Razorock Synthetic Pliss model and a Vulvix Progress Badger/Boar. You'll notice that the razors are hanging from holders that I found at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They suction cup to the mirror. I purchased the brush holders from Shave Nation and double face taped them to the mirror. You'll also notice my two bowls, A Yoresh Palm bowl and an Onyx palm bowl. My brush soaker is a Patriots mug. I also have a stainless bowl with cover for hard soaps. I am currently using a Barbershop soap and Lavender shave cream. I really like the Lavender scent and have a few after shave balms in that fragrance. I've even scented the Nivea with Lavender essential oil, smells great. Anyway, This is my den.

I like that red white and blue handled brush. Great shape and color bands.

Pretty good starter set.

A lot of long-handled razors and modern razors.  Gotta try some good vintage stuff.   IMO.

By the way, I've had hundreds of razors and over the past 6 months or so I'm really starting to pare down what I use on a regular basis.  The razors that keep finding their way to my face are:

British Hybrid Tech
British RFB NEW
American NEW Deluxe
American New Improved
Japanese Feather AS-D2

and occasionally

Tradere SB (obviously American)

Mostly it's the Hybrid Tech and the RFB NEW, which are virtually identical except that the NEW is an open comb.

^^^ that. And you should definitely try one of those de's on your head, its a world of difference. I was pretty intimidated by it at first as well. Try out one of the more mild razors first, promise you wont regret it. I like my slim set to 7 with a sharp blade or an oc gillette with a 7 oclock gillette blade
