+2 and tell us some more about your likes and dislikes, how you lather, etc.; we need something to work with.
I like badger brushes that splay well when pressed into the skin & that are good for painting on lather. I've been considering a synthetic. I build up a little lather on my brush then further build up the lather on my face I'm currently using edwin jagger shaving soap

I heard good things about Saville Row brushes so that's good if you would like to spend a little more. Simpsons are up there on my wishlist, the emperor, the chubby and the duke.
I have a Parker pure badger here, price is in that vicinity. The performance is alright, it's soft, I never thought it was scritchy except when it's dry. The handle is quite small, it is easy to maneuver, it splays quite a bit so real estate wise you are well covered and the backbone is middle of the road I guess, it's no boar but it's not a mop either. I tried it with both hard and soft soaps and it did great. I'd like to try it with Mitchell's wool fat once I have that soap in my den.
I'd like to give you a more informed opinion but this is my only badger brush till I get my Saville Row; However I don't regret buying this one at all.
In case you are interested, it's the Parker pure badger brush with the chrome bottom. 38 bucks right now on Amazon.
