Seven in done and dusted back out Monday the one filly came with a nasty frown so that hit my DMT 320 grit for a breadknife, the Japanese Mistuon 3000 also had a very nasty chip mid blade which responded better than I first imagined all in all everything worked out quite well very pleased with the edges.

First time using this stone. I touched up this Joseph Elliot hollow ground. It was pretty straight forward to use. I am very new to honing and have gotten mediocre results on my previous attempts. I certainly didn't expect the results I got from this stone on my first attempt. The results were fantastic!!!! Very nice comfortable edge. I really couldn't be happier with the results I got. I think I feel my Jaguar starting to tug a bit now.  Biggrin

Steve,

I doubt it could be better as the HHT was 4+ but using the 12K just made getting there faster I think, BTW I pretty much don't use linen at all anymore except 10 light passes on the post shave to dry the blade's edge before hitting leather.
