So I hear it's been reformulated in the new glass pot design.
What are the main differences in scent and performance ?
Which one do you all prefer, and why ?
I just ordered the new version, and already own the old version- but still curious if there are real differences or not ?

I just ordered the new one too without knowing there was a new version. Didn't really need to but couldn't resist the price, soap and bowl for nine bucks! I love the old ones and I hope the new is just as good,

It's the same product, although I read things about slight differences in the scent. If I had to choose between the two bowls, my choice would be the older one. Also, the old logo seems more traditional in my opinion.
To be honest, I don't like the scent at all but neither I hate it. I am not a fan.

Will give them both a thorough test here in February and March, and see if I find any difference between them.
I still have yet to use my old one in the glass jar - have only used two Tabac soap sticks, but I hear the stick is the same as the soap in the bowl, and I whole hearted loveed the Tabac soap stick, my only problem with it was that it became a bit rough to smear on the face, the longer down I came in the stick - so I really had to wet my face, when I applied compared to the soap stick from DR Harris and TOBS, which were quite a bit less difficult to apply on my face.
But even though the Tabac scent reminds me of my dad and I'm not a huge fan of the scent, I managed to use it myself as a teenager, because it was readily available in the super markets.
But even though I'm not a huge fan of the scent, I still can appreciate for what it is: A TRUE CLASSIC, and with a well blended scent.
A scent can be well blended, but still not be my favourite. Tbac is such a scent. I would probably never buy it again in After Shave, Cologne or Deodorant, but used as a shaving soap, I actually can appreciate the scent quite a bit for sentimental reasons.
And the lather is stellar, solid and full of volume and cushion and quite slick as well.
