Just wanted to introduce myself.
My name is James, and I am from the Texas Panhandle. I have been wet shaving since July, and I have been loving every minute of it! I have been shaving daily for a few years and I started shaving about five years ago (I am blessed/cursed with genes for a fast growing beard). For those years, I used a Fusion Razor and a can of foam, and everyday, I was breaking out with razor bumps and acne. Once I made the switch to DEs, my face immediately cleared up and I haven't looked back. I just turned 18 last Tuesday and was gifted a few more items to my shave den.

My current den:

Razors:
1958 Gillette Executive - Grandfather's razor
1959 Fatboy - Love to use this
Ever-Ready 1924 - Great audible feedback
Maggard Razors V1 - Blade alignment issues but still works
Maggard Razors V3 - My go-to
Maggard Razors V3a - Great for lots of growth, it's aggressive

Straight Razor:
Ralf Aust 5/8 Olivewood - Still Learning, but I love it

Blades:
Feather - My favorite for DEs
GEM Coated or Pal - My favorite for the Ever-Ready

Brushes:
Stirling Kong 26mm - Great latherer, "pillow feel"
Stirling 22mm - Great latherer, slightly denser "pillow feel"
Omega 49 - Great latherer for face and bowl
Vie Long 12750 - Just got this one, but I like it
Custom 22mm Boar on the way - Can hardly wait
VDH Luxury Boar (R.I.P... Died earlier this fall) - This one fell apart

Soaps & Creams:
Stirling Sharp Dressed Man - Great slickness on all Stirling products, love the scent
Stirling Executive Man - Love the scent
Stirling Tuscany - Unique Scent
Stirling South Padre Island - Spring/Summer scent
Stirling Island Man - Absolutely love the scent
Stirling Bay Rum (on the way) - Haven't tried a Bay Rum before
Stirling Spice (on the way) - Hope this smells like Shulton Old Spice
TOBS Sandalwood Cream - Great cream, better scent
Tabac - Awesome performance and scent
D.R. Harris Windsor - Awesome performance and sophisticated scent
Speick Cream - Favorite cream
Old Spice Cream (on the way) - Why not
Williams - I really like the scent, and I love the lather I can get from it

Aftershaves:
Stirling Sharp Dressed Man - Nice lasting scent
Stirling Executive Man (on the way) - Hope this is as good as the soap
Stirling Spice (on the way) - Hope this smells like Shulton Old Spice
Stirling Vetiver Witch Hazel & Aloe (on the way) - I like vetiver
Fine American Blend - Love the scent
Fine L'Orange Noir - Love the scent on this more
Fine Fresh Vetiver - Pairs with a lot of soaps nicely
Fine Clean Vetiver - Good woody/earthy scent
Fine Platinum - IMO, not as good as Stirling Executive Man
Fine Snake Bite - Feel the burn
Aqua Velva Ice Blue - Great scent and performance
Skin Bracer - Good scent
Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum (on the way) - I really want this... Like now
Speick - Great performance and pairs perfectly with the cream or soap
Dove Sensitive Balm - Use this after I apply any splash, almost scentless
Nivea Sensitive Balm - Had to stop using, burned my skin (odd)
Vintage Shulton Old Spice - Better than the Classic
Old Spice Classic - I still enjoy it, readily available

I hope everyone has a great day!

Thanks, everyone!

I've got a question for y'all... My favorite place to go on vacation is Port Aransas, Texas and Padre Island National Seashore. While I am landlocked hear in the panhandle (12 hours from the beach), I still like to be reminded of coastal scents. What are some products that remind you of coastal living?

Finished off the TOBS this morning... I would buy more, but I am trying to limit what I order this month.

Greetings James and welcome to the Nook. Congratulations on celebrating your 18th birthday. I sure wish I'd found tradition wet shaving when I was your age!
