Another beautiful brush, David. Don't you have other Epsilons? How does this knot compare to your Shavemac and Simpson brushes?

Thanks, Richard. Yes, this is my third Epsilon brush. My other two are a 2-Band with a 55mm loft and a 3-Band with a 50mm loft. Each brush has its own individual characteristics. All have very soft hair, the 3-Band similar softness to the Shavemac 2-Band Silvertip. The 2-Bands have more scrub and the 50mm incredible backbone. Compared to Simpson Manchurians....all three softer, of course, yet with backbone to compete,(50mm 2-Band loft even greater) and considerably denser than any CH2 Silvertip, I've owned. And price wise? Well, it's a no brainer.  Biggrin

I agree-- they always look impeccable. I also like how it has a classic handle design that is somehow still distinctive. These brushes should get more attention.

I knew that the second Nuavia would have come shortly after using the red one .... and it smells wonderfully .... little doubts it will perform as the brother.

I got some Tabac shaving soap.  I've never used it, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

WoW - what a beauty  Thumbup

Makes me want to buy one in black and one in ivory, but I can't since I already own one of the original blacks and the new in faux horn, and I have made a promise that I only want unique brushes/knots in my den.

But there is a way around it...I own the black in 2-band 27mm X 55mm and the faux horn in 3-band 27mm X 50mm, so if I bought the black new in 3-Band 27mm X 55mm and the ivory in 2-band 27mm X 50mm, I would still own unique brushes  Badger

I wish I had the skills to use one of these Chuck. Nice trade, Johnny. I admit it will be odd not seeing the PILS in your SOTDs!

Thank you, Claus.

I believe you already have both your 2-Band and 3-Band brushes in their optimal lofts of 55mm and 50mm, respectively. The 50mm 3-Band is sublime and I wouldn't want to go any higher. I already own the 2-Band in 55mm and prefer slightly more backbone, hence the 50mm purchase. The first use was backbone to excess. I'm hoping the knot will open up after a few more uses.

Looks fantastic, Johnny. Enjoy. Smile

I really should consider adventuring in to trying one of these.
