Gillette Gold Aristocrat Razor

I believe this is the prettiest razor I have ever seen. I'll bet money someone on this forum has one. How does it shave? If it shaves nicely I might just get one. Isn't there an adjustable version?

The adjustable version is a variation of the Slim / Fatboy design. There is a Toggle version as well. However, if you really want to talk about the Aristocrat...

Thanks! Glad to know it's a variation of the Slim/Fatboy. I love my Slim. I think I'll eventually get an Aristocrat Adjustable as well. That one of yours looks like it was just made!

WOW! Both are beautiful! Where in the world did you find these in NOS? Man, what luck!

They are very nice, but you should see their older cousins, the British Open-Combs.

A few on my O/C's erm I may have added a couple more since I took this pic a few months a go.........
   

I recently picked up a 40's style non adjustable. Really love the thing, has a nice heft and at least feels pretty mellow in terms of blade gap. Making me consider selling my FatBoy so i can pick up something else in the Aristocrat line!

These razors are just beautiful. Thank you everyone for sharing.

Hey Marv, an old picture. I will get around to taking a pic of the whole lot one day. The Red Dot is in the shop having a clean and polish.........pics will follow.....
