Setting aside scent as it's mostly subjective, what are your top 5 performing soaps and creams?

For the moment I'd say:

Pens Creams
CRSW
SV
B&M
MdC

1.) Haslinger - by a long shot. It was nice to see Rudy Vey yesterday call Haslinger the best modern soap made today. I have bought & used most soaps discussed on the boards & nothing tops its performance imo.

2.) Brutalt Bra Barbersape
3.) Mystic Waters
4.) SdM
5.) Tabac

1. Pannacrema (Nuavia Rossa)
2. B&M (LGC, Hallows)
3. MDC (Fougere)
4. SV (Asylum Colonia, Flying Mango)
5. LPL Traditional

Everything else in my den holds the honorable sixth placeSmile

That's a tough question because I have many great performing soaps and creams. I am not buying average performers, thanks to the good reviews here in TSN.

Let me think about it...
  • Pannacrema
  • Barrister & Mann
  • Le Pere Lucien
  • Savon de Volcans
  • Valobra
These are my Top 5s at this time. But I haven't tried the I Coloniali yet, maybe later this day or tomorrow. I have a good feeling about this soap!

One thing I thought about recently was I have moved away from Vegan soaps during the winter months and that my favorite soaps will change during the warmer months.

Been using CRSW and B&M as they give me a bit more protection in the post shave but as the weather becomes more gentle, less wind, more dry, and hotter, I will pull out the Le Pére Lucien and Saponificio Varesino soaps more.

Tend to this as well - more Tallow in the winter, more veggie in the summer!
