Which ones don't have wax spots ?

So far I only know of KAI & Personna Lab Blue/Med Prep.

When I was working with horses NOBODY wanted to do the grooming chore of washing a stallion or geldings 'sheath' AKA PEEPEE. I made a decent side living charging $20 for what the DVMs complained was such a hassle being asked to do ( and charged accordingly). A box of latex gloves, soap, bucket and some mineral oil and I was pulling in a easy $200 a month.
So, I will gladly receive razors from anyone, personally remove the wax with all my skill as a former museum curator and return. I just have to work out the details.

That does generate some mental images.

Out of curiosity, would it be easier to list those that do have wax spots?  Like everything from St. Petersburg perhaps?

1. When placed on the edge of the blade, they directly dull the blade (Example: Gillette Silver Blue)

2. When placed elsewhere, they will attract beard stubble and lather and create build up under the top plate

Wax spots are easily removed with a Q-tip and lighter fluid....part of the process..really no big deal.

Do you also need a source to tell you, that a broken leg makes it harder to walk and a broken arms makes it harder to drive ?

I stopped using GSBs for this exact reason. Wax on the cutting edge is just ridiculous.

Because your stating that wax dulls the blade with no proof that this actually occurs. I go through a ton of GSBs, and this has not been my experience. Without a source that confirms your statement - it's simply a strongly held opinion (which is fine, but let's not mistake that as a fact).

I've never encountered a blade with wax spots right on the cutting edge.  Wax spots on other parts of the blade don't affect the shave, so I just ignore them.

Let's just stop here.

You don't get annoyed over wax spots on the edge of a cutting blade and need proof that it actually affects a blades efficiency to cut through a whisker.

I don't need that proof.

Even if the opposite were true (that the wax preserved the sharpness of the blade), I'd still find the mess of it annoying. But, that's just my personality. I also fully disassemble, clean, and dry the razor after each use.
