I bought a tub of Soap from Vlad at B&B and he included a sample of this in with what I bought. It has a lovely smell and I made a test lather with just the tiniest bit possible and made loads of lather. I think I may need to buy a whole tub of this stuff.

It has a very nice cologne type scent, but its skin care is so so,at least for my dry skin.
.I would go for RazoRock XXX before than this cream, but again, smells really well.

I'm not good at describing scents but I think Teiste has it right. It has a great cologne type scent and the performance is wonderful. I literally used a thumbnails worth and test lathered three passes and probably rinsed 2 more out of the brush. I'll be buying some of this ASAP.

Hiya,

The J Peterman product is one of just a couple creams in my rotation. Almost all daily choices are soaps, but the occasional cream is a good change of pace. The other two used sometimes would be some Pens Racquets and CF lime.

The '1903' fragrance is part of a selection that includes an EdT as well. You can do a search and find out the deal with the scent. Personally I think it smells like a very classy high end English kinda frag. Mellow, but not dull. It's been reordered a bunch of times over the years.

Performance has been very good for me. Some of the better looking lather around, with the right amount of slip and cushion. Personally, I thought the post shave skin care was pretty darn good.

Martin

What a odd name for a cream. Is it really that old?

I'm bringing this thread back and asking for any current opinions if I may. I'm intrigued by the entire line.
