I finally have some decent brushes to show off. Thanks for the Duke(left) Bjtiger75! The Chubby was a crazy deal on eBay that I couldn't say no too! Come to find out the brush came from a member here (sqzbxr), thanks again for a really nice one!

Teaser - Bottom dial welcoming them to the den! Haha

Congratulations on your new acquisitions.   They're far more than just "decent" brushes!  Great razor too.

Outstanding introduction to Simpson brushes. Both are solid performers. Enjoy!

Thanks guys. I have used the Duke, I like it. I got the Chubby 1 on a fluke so I am curious how the Super Badger preforms.

Great looking brushes!

I've got four Simpsons but have not ever tried their Super.
Curious to hear what you think after getting a chance to use it and compare.

I absolutely love my Keyhole 3. I hardly ever hear of those. It's just the right size and shape for me. Really comfortable in the hand and a solid face lathering machine.

I had a Chubby 1 in Best years ago and just couldn't get past how squat and short it was. I'm 6'3" though, so I suppose that has a lot to do with my preferences. The Chubby just disappeared in my hand each time I used it and I would end up with just as much lather on my fingers as I did on my face with it.

The Chubby 1 in Super Badger worked really well. Soft hairs and held a lot of soap. Felt good on my face. Here are some pictures while lathering. I used Mike's All Natural Soap (Barbershop).

How are you find the super badger in your CH1?

I find it soft but still has some backbone. I don't know a ton about it to be completely honest. I am glad that it does not shed. Time will tell. I will keep you updated.
