So my wife is firmly against the stache. I tried growing one for Movember 2014 and was ridiculed.

So beginning of January '16 I told her, listen, I've never grown one, I'm doing this for me. Just to say at least I tried it.

So here's my stache progress week by week

Loving it. Wife, well, I don't think so. But she'll just have to deal.

Lookin' good! Perhaps if others give you compliments while she's present, she'll come around. I'm not sure that I would want to kiss someone with a moustache either.  Biggrin

Looks good.  You just need to slick your hair back close with pomade to complete the effect!  You'll look like an early gunfighter.  Women will dig it.  Smile

Dude, I am going to be 37 in a few months and I doubt I could grow a mustache half that dark and even.
I tried once 10 years ago or so, and mine might may be be thicker now.

After 5 weeks mine looked like your week 2. I cut it off because my friends were brutal about it.  Rolleyes

The rest of my beard is black but my mustache has thick wiry white and blond hairs in it that makes it look like it's blotchy or just peach fuzz.
I had blond hair up until I was in high school. When I started sprouting chest hair and facial hair my head hair turned brown.
Thing is, by the time I hit 30 I was pretty much bald on top. Which is not a big deal to me.
What does bother me is ear hair. What the heck is that all about?!  No one warns you about ear hair...

I don't "want" a mustache, but just once, like you said, I want one. I have a desk job and unless I'm off on vacation or something I'm supposed to be clean shaven every day. I doubt I'll ever have a full beard or a 'stache anyway, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious. I've sported a goatee for a week or two at a time during my vacations, but my mustache doesn't match my chin, neck, and cheek hair. It's thick and dense enough all around. So weird that I have a blondish colored 'stache still. Not gray. Blond hairs like brass wire mixed in.

haha.

How long are you going to sport that soup strainer?
