During the last year, I've tried many products and Cyril's soaps are among the best I own. They perform really well, it's super easy to lather them. My first scent was the Traditionnel that I bought on May. I was so satisfied that I used it exclusively on June and very soon I bought also the big 200g stainless steel bowl. Until then, I had only the little 100g tin. Later, I thought that it was time to move on and try some of his other scents. So, I bought the Cedre Patchouli which I really enjoy as a winter scent. Recently, the last couple of months, I bought also the Rose de Pushkar, the best rose scent I have so far, Dandy, a really nice cologne scent, and Cypres Boise LE, which is a mild lemogny scent.

After many tries and shaves, I think I know which one is my favorite scent. The answear is the Traditionnel. It's an all year round scent, you can use it in winter but also in the warm summer days. It's a classic mediterannean scent with lavender, rosemary and thyme and reminds me somehow of the greek summer when we take our car to go to the nearest beach. On the road side there are thyme bushes and the hot air has a nice thyme, botanical scent. Most of the times, scents are connected with memories we have.

It would be easier for me to rank them...
----- These I love, and could easily change the order
Dandy
Cypress Boise
Vetiver Bourbon
Lavender Vetiver
Traditional
------ These I really like
Apricot
Cèdre Patchouli
Rose de Pushkar

----- I'll list this separately as it's not a solo LPL
Lainess Honey scented Donkey milk soap

I don't own the Tau Ceti (coconut).

I enjoy all of Cyril's soaps, but Apricot and Rose de Pushkar are on the top of my list.

I only have the Original and Rose de Pushkar and wasn't blown away by the scent of either which is probably why I haven't purchased anymore. Although I have been tempted to buy Vétiver Bourbon and Dandy.

I don't know how easy is to find the Vetiver Bourbon, because it was a LE for a fb group I think.

For me Traditionnel and Apricot are the best. Followed by Cedre and Patchouli. My only regret is getting 98g tins. Never again.

The big stainless steel bowls are far superior, I agree on that.

I've also read a comment on Youtube about it, it will be released after the spring if I remember well.

I own 6 LPl's, and would rank them like this:

1. Apricot - glad I got the 200 gram tin from Cyril. What an awesome fantastic scent. This scent ranks among the best shaving cream/soap scents in my entire collection. I'd rate the scent and soap 10/10. I can't possible think a soap/cream will ever perform better than this, and if so I will still rank the LPL Apricot 10/10, it's THAT GREAT !

2. Rose de Puchkar - just a lovely toned down exquisite rose scent. I'm not a fan of Rose scents, but this one just takes the cake as the best Rose scented soap/cream I have ever smelled

3. Cedre & Patchouli - great cedre scent here, love the Patch in it too.

4. Original - just a more herbal take on MDC Original. Very dry scent. Reminds me of Southern France and the Alpes, where I have been on vacation 8 times total.

5. Dandy - really an exceptional advanced dark flowery scent. Definitely an acquired taste, but once lathered up, this scent just is amazing. It reminds me of a combo of LPL Original, Xpec Original, C&S 88 and Tabac.

6. Lavender & vetiver - very nice earthy scent. My least favourite LPL scent, yet it still is awesome.

Yes. The wide opening is a big plus while lathering.

This is exactly my list! Great minds think alike! Wink

I would also like to add to this list another LPL (thanks to Luis) soap that has 17% of Ass milk and Honey. The soap is on the softer side, but performs EXCEPTIONALLY and to my nose it smells divine!
