SOLD.  Thanks to TSN and the buyer.

This is the third and last time I'm trying a boar brush.  I simply like my badgers too much to change.

I bought this new, less than a month ago.  My cost was $20.45.  I've used it three times.  And I'm not interested in further effort to achieve full break in.

Full disclosure.   I bought this from a fleabay seller.  I don't know what "bristle" means.  Heck it may even be a counterfeit.  I just know I'm fortunate to have some really nice badgers and I decline to switch.

You can have it for fifteen bucks shipped US50 in a padded envelope.

Bristle is the term for boar hair.

Bristle = boar term
Hair=badger term

No need to worry about being counterfeit.

You should send it to me for break in, then I'll send it back. THEN you can decide if you want to sell it. I love my 830, didn't start to sing until a lot of lather had gone through it.

Agreed, the 830 needs a lot of lathering before it gets good.  But it does get really good.

Thank you gents. I appreciate learning that its genuine. Makes me far more comfortable that the buyer is getting the real deal.

I guess I find more satisfaction in a two band badger than in breaking in a well-reputed boar.

The brush has sold.
