It gives me great pleasure to announce that an experimental batch of KFBR is being produced in Slovenia using the original formula. There is a target date for marketable production to be available for sale, but I won't announce that at this time. First the test batch must pass QC before actual production gets ramped up. If there are setbacks I don't want to announce a new target date.
But things are definitely looking up for Europe! Finally! We've been working toward this goal for almost a year now and it will be a year if the projected target date is met. Wow, it's been a really tough row to hoe! I never expected it to be this difficult.

I don't know what the plans are for selling it yet. Frankly, I'm letting the production folks handle all of that. I know my limitations and they know Slovenia and Europe much better than I do. I will mention TVBShaving to them. They are also expecting a mention of some sort in a large circulation newspaper in Slovenia, at least that's how it was explained to me.
I did had vendors approach me when I set the wheels in motion and I plan to e-mail them to let them know the latest news.
But right now this is just a small test batch to make sure all of the ingredients are right. From here it will go to local testers of their choice to compare the US made product to theirs. Changes will be made if required, then more test batches (or none) as required. It's a slow process since each batch steeps for 2 weeks before anything more can be done. They could remain on target or it could still be months away. That's why I didn't want to release a target date. The important part is that things have begun. Lots of the raw materials are exotic substances in Europe and not at all easy to obtain.

Congratulations! Awesome news!
BTW, I received my first bottle of Acadian Spice Bay Rum after hearing about it here. What a great after shave! I love the scent, and the alcohol content is just right (it doesn't dry out my skin like many of the others). It's my go to bay rum now!
Cheers,
Eric

I was sent a sample bottle and there were very few issues that needed to be corrected. That was awhile back. Those issues were fixed and I have a report back from a gent on this forum, in the Netherlands I believe, and he tells me that the bottle he was sent is a duplicate of my formula as near as he can discern. It should be as they are using the very same small scale manufacturing process and the exact same formula. Discussing this with the folks in Slovenia I saw early on that they will have the same emphasis on quality that I have, nitpickingly so.
There still is no webpage, but there is an active Facebook page for those wanting more information. Sorry, but that's all I know about Facebook.
I suspect they are very close to being open for business, but check Facebook.

Yes, "fun" is one way to put it! :-) A huge understatement! Notice that I'm not negotiating the minefields of the EU production and distribution. That would be far more fun than I care to undertake.

There's not a huge amount of information available... I'm not holding my breath for Christmas (2106)
