You read right. This was the combination I used this morning, and by crikey, talk about "steady as she goes". A true, heavyweight shave and naturally enough, I have a BBS. What else would I have? Smile

I think I'll stick to this kind of shave for long-haul flights, so that by the time I reach my destination, I'll feel relatively 'clean'. 

Any other almost-lethal shaves you might recommend?

On the right R41 with Windrose SSL handle from the Bay in UK.
On the left the barber pole Merkur Slant "The Sledgehammer".
The R41 head with the 100g 100mm handle is more efficient that the heavy slant. I have not used the Slant much in the last six weeks since I got the R41 and handle.

Not lethal, but with a Feather blade very efficient for my tough white whiskers.
