[Image: qcvL8Mz.jpg][Image: PDJUPpR.jpg][Image: MWc54LR.jpg]So I finally had a new razor arrive, the Rockwell 6s. i know some guys have talked about it on here but I wanted to give my review/opinion to date. The razor was packaged quite nicely in it's snug foam insert so there was no chance of it flopping around and getting damaged in delivery. The first thing I noticed was the nice weight and balance that the razor has. The razor glides without any effort from the user at all. I also got a pack of the Rockwell DE blades which are quite nice. So that was last night. This morning I had it all ready to go.

My lineup was as follows:

Razor: Rockwell 6s
Blade: Rockwell Swedish Steel DE
Soap: Little Tim's Barbershop scent
Brush:Husk & Timber boar
DirtyBird Scuttle
Soapcommander Balm
WSP Aftershave

I hadn't shaved in a few days so that I would have a decent growth going and my beard is pretty coarse. I usually do a 3 pass shave everyday which keeps me clean for the entire workday. Lathered up with the soap and used the base plate #3 and got to work. Seriously whisked everything off in one pass so well that the second pass was merely just a cleanup pass. The combo of the blade and the razor made for a great shave. Now I know it was just my first shave with it but I will post on the subsequent ones, changing out baseplates here and there and using different blades. I know there had been some issues with the previous incarnations of the razor but this time IMHO they have knocked it out of the park. I even put my 66 Slim on hiatus while I'm using this.

I'm liking mine so far, with plates 1 and 2. Quality is top-notch far as I can tell.

How are the blades.  I was trying to find reviews on them yesterday and couldn't.  They seem reasonably priced.

The blades seem to be very good. I only have one shave on this one but I'll post tomorrow how that shave goes. So far I would definitely say I'm buying a 100 pack of these.

Day 2 incredibly smooth 2 pass shave still using plate 3. I'm interested to see how long this blade lasts as well. [Image: 5e1dd76c8021214b11575fa6537027b8.jpg]

This razor has easily become my favorite. Great weight, super shaves every single time. I've yet to have a bad shave from it.

Nice Razor.  Will you now buy their new adjustable that works like the FatBoy, Slim or Futur?

Yes if the 6s is any indicator of the quality and the fact that even though they had issues they stood behind their product. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
