I have two Tony Miller strops (Steerhide and Fast Bridal) the draw on this one seems more magnetic and the 3" linen is very, very nice compared to the cotton weave, still I would love to see and feel a Westholme strop, and can't seeem to find the elusive Kanayama #3

Torolf does magnificent work!
I love the one handle system that tensions both components at the same time. The only thing that could make that strop better would be the old style handles he used to get. I thought he was going to have them reproduced, but I guess not yet...
Beautiful strop, and use it in good health!

I looked for all the old photos on coticule.be, but they all seem to be gone. I'll keep looking, as it would be very difficult to explain.
Edit ..
I just found a photo. Torolf used to find this hardware on old strops that could not be reconditioned. He would remove the hardware, clean it up and reuse it on new strops. I think it's a beautiful and quite unique addition!
