I have been wet shaving (incorrectly) off and on for a few decades. I got fed up with the multi-blade razors and tried an electric, then I tried a beard. A few months ago I did some research and got back into wet shaving with a DE. Sadly, I have now become a fan of wet shaving and shave just for the pleasure of it (I'm retired so don't have to shave daily).
I am looking to become more knowledgable about all aspects of wet shaving, so finding this forum is a great new resourse for me.
By the way, I found this forum from the link on Bullgoose which is another happy find.
Hope to be able to contribute sometime soon. Still pretty much learning for now.

Glad you found us too!
My history matches yours also. When I was working I'd have a 3-4 day old beard, now retired and I shave every day. It's enjoyable and a very relaxing part of the day. When I first began blade shaving I kept my ear to the rail looking for a way to shave more frequently.
Anyway, Welcome to TSN!
Mark, what are you using for gear?
