In my opinion Nuavia overall is a better soap.
Scent wise though I much prefer SMN to both the Red and Blu Nuavia but have not yet tried the Nuavia Verde.

Haha Someone already said that, and Claus already said this thread is months old and he has all three.

Well Nero, you know me, pretty much clueless.

Congrats are defiantly in order! I have been eyeing the Rossa and Blu for quite awhile now myself.   I was in Pasteur's Pharmacy this past weekend and that beautifully well package box was the first thing that caught my eye. Unfortunately, it was the lesser of the three that I have had my heart set on for so long now.

I respectfully disagree.
I think both soaps are very close. I would give SMN an edge for slickness and protection. IMO I don't think any soap out there matches SMN in these two departments.
Scent wise, Nuavia Rossa wins for me. Not that I don't line SMN's scent, as a matter of fact I really enjoy it. However Nuavia Rossa has a divine oud scent.
I would also say Nuavia wins in post shave, by a slight margin, SMN has a wonderful post shave but Nuavia's is exceptional.

I would say everyone needs to experience both soaps, both are a pleasure to use and I wouldn't want to be without either.

I have all three, and Rossa is still my favorite. Blu second and verde is the last. Verde is also nice, but Rossa and Blu is more right up my alley. I adore Amouage, and these two, specially the Rossa reminds me of that Amouage DNA.

Claus is right, when it comes to sophistication of scent, the Nuavia line is really excellent.

I hope you're being humorous.
I certainly meant no offense by it. I figured I'd bite the bullet, bc someone was going to tell you and I figured it might as well be me.

I should know your name by now, btw. Sorry.

Had to sell the Nuavia triplets! While Nuavia's performance is among the best I've ever tried, the scents were just to strong and clawing for my taste.

The suspense is killing me - I am awaiting delivery of all 3 Nuavias, directly from PannaCrema.  I figured I might as well get 'em all, in one shipment and more importantly, a single waiting period!  Tongue

You'll love 'em. I've pretty much settled on Blu as my fav.

Just wish I didn't have to keep paying for the crocks.

Some have mentioned they use the lather as an after shave….how does that work?
I'm imagining rubbing the lather into the skin and not washing it off…can that be it?

The Blu sounds nice, but irrational as it sounds, theres something about black/dark brown
soaps that turns me off. So I thought of getting the Rosso but that is out of stock at my go-to
sellers.

So looks like Verde it could be….but some say it smells like SV 70th anniversary soap (which I already have).

How do these compare to the SV soaps?

In my experience, which doesn't match with many, SV isn't worth purchasing as a bath soap while Nuavia is one of the best shave soaps I've ever used.

In regards to your aftershave question allow me to explain how I did it. I don't do this anymore currently as I have found an amazing aftershave which I prefer to use after each shave (Barrister's Reserve). As I finished my shave I would squeeze out the leftover lather in the brush and then rub it into my freshly shorn face and neck. I would leave that lather on while I cleaned up my razor, blade, and brush. Once cleanup was done on the hardware, then I would rinse my face off. It worked well for me in the summer, but not quite as well in the winter. I have an oily skin complexion. Hope that helps.

Recived my triplets yesterday and all I can say is WOW!  All three scents are fantastic and unique in their own way, and not too strong for this guy.  And the lather is sublime!  Used the Blu for my first shave and enjoyed every second.  I'm not sure it's overly slick but I'm only one shave in.   My wife even commented on the scents and kept sniffing each bowl.  Thumbup
