Just acquired this soap.
I had a sample I used and it's wonderful stuff. Used it today, the last day before 'one soap for a month' takes off.
Anyone who owns it ?
I would rate it a 9/10, really nice stuff.
Very subtle scent, but calming and nice.
My sample was quite soft for soap, perhaps it's more like a croap or ?
Just had to buy the pot, but when I saw the design I thought my danish shaving site had it in stock, but my memory wasn't far off, they sell Mr. Natty shaving soap.
Anyone thinks the design of the pots look a little bit too much a like

Just received the Brutalt Bra shaving soap today.
Boy, did the presentation diappoint !
I received a tiny dented bruised little alu pot with 100 gram soap in.
I can't even load the soap with any of my brushes, the alu pot is so tiny. And the soap is very soft like a croap/cream, so I will need a spoon to transfer it to another container - and the 100 gram product will almost disapppear in a regular sized bowl. The smallest 100 gram soap I have ever seen
And as mentioned it has a lot of nice dents and bruises all around the outside of the pot.
The pot looks so pathetic, I would not want to post it in SOTD pics.
This presentation is even worse than what I got in my 6 x Savon du Volcans Bon Berger soaps..........did not think it was possible to surpass them, but Brutalt Bra just did that - my number one worst presentation in my huge soap and cream den.
Congratulations, Bergum - worst most pathetic presentation EVER
Don't sign me up for more of the Bergum soaps, please

I will gladly receive any and all pre distressed and tiny tins. I have no shame. My moral compass is a collector's item designed to determine the direction towards Mecca from anywhere in the world for daily prayers. I think it's broken. I determined it points to the ISLY islands in Scotland. Somewhere in my stuff is a Viking drinking goblet made of pewter. I bought it up in Solvang after drinking a quantity of Norwegian brew that also looked tiny consumed one at a time. The trick for both is to buy in multiples. Help make this a going concern and maybe the next batch will be bigger; satisfying the American consumer model of supersizing everything.

The shipping box was full of the protective white stuff, that I don't even know the name of in Danish..........but did not work good enough or it was already dented before they shipped it.
Must admit the 3 TOBS creams I also bought look really weird compared to the 8 other TOBS I own.
But that's another story for another thread, I will make soon

I know the soap is very nice, as I have already had a sample of it, but I dislike tiny small alu tins, because it makes loading a brush in them next to impossible, and I dislike them even more, when they are bruised and full of small dents.
This is why I only own two Simpson shaving creams. I had to buy 4 (2 of the same scent) and picked the two I liked best, and sold the other two, because of the dents in them.
Klar sefen has the same problem with their tins, but they are hard soaps and is easy to tranfer to another bowl, becaue the Klar pucks are larger and the Klar tins are also larger.
This Brutalt Shit_ty tin even makes the 98 gram LPL soap stainless steel pots look big.
This 100 gram gooey soap mess is kind of hard to scoopp out.........
Simpson have all their shaving creams in tins, but the size of the Simpson tins is far better, because they are large enough to load comfortably from the tins.
I will P.I.F. this Brutalt shit_ty presented shaving soap....it's not for me.

Aluminum dents, glass and ceramics break and wood shatter. The great English ceramic industry was inspired by Chinese imports- ironically first brought over as BALLAST in the Spanish galleons on the great circle route. I know you hold high standards. But dear Claus, go easy on us mere mortals. Many cultures deliberately include some small flaw in objects. The thinking is only the creator can make something flawless.

When my blade of steel is gliding across my face lathered with this fine Norwegian soap, it could care less about the size of the tin or whether it was dented while on it's long voyage to my shave den. I provided this lovely soap with a new home in an extra large, flat tin that will accommodate the largest of my brushes.

Let us not make inartfull comments and wound Claus. The fact is product can be shipped safely regardless of fragility with forthought. I just received this beauty from the Netherlands. It was produced in 1904 and has survived all those years and events unscathed. I'm drinking tea in it now- to the horror of a collector neighbor.

Thanks for the (much needed) support, Kav - beautiful tea cup by the way......
