Hello my name is matt and I  am a menthol addict. Im pretty new to wet shaving and have just discovered that I  love mentholated soaps and aftershaves. However being so new I  haven't had the opportunity to try many out, I picked up maggard orange menthol soap and as and have stirling spice splash and just ordered margaritas in the Arctic. We just had a baby so my spending is on hiatus for awhile however when I do have a couple spair dollars I would like some suggestions on some good mentholated soaps and splashes. So if you don't mind tell me what you like and why. Thanks!

Chiseled Face has many mentholated splashes. I like the Sherlock scent best and it gets my face as cold or colder than my other menthol splash, Aqua Velva.

The absolute coldest soap I've used is the Sterling Glacial Soaps and witch hazels. I have the Glacial Obsidian soap and the Black Ice Witch Hazel. They are VERY COLD.

Not the coldest, the I find myself reaching for good old Proraso most often. With the preshave applied first, it is pleasantly mentholated. And for splashes, why not grab a bottle of m-bomb from The Shave Den Shop and then you can add as much menthol to any splash (or your soap lather) as you like?

- I Coloniali Mango Oil (soap, mild cooling)
- I Coloniali Rhubarb (cream, mild cooling)
- TOBS Peppermint (cream, intense cooling)
- Proraso Green (soap, and cream, intense cooling)

My personal fave mentholated splash is D.R.Harris Arlington, but it's somewhat pricey; LEA Classic is less expensive, and functions very well too, imo.
I don't care for the fragrance used in the current Proraso Green splash, but it functions well, and has plenty of menthol. YMMV.

Palmolive Menthol Shave Cream is very cold for a cream -- much colder than Proraso in my opinion.  Myrsol Plastic is a pretty cooling aftershave in my experience as well.  For some reason I get more of a cooling from it than other Myrsol products.  And of course 444 Balm/ gel is very cooling too.

Stirling Orange Chill. But I love menthol so I just add mentholated glycerin drops to any soap/cream that I use.

Mystic Waters Prospect Creek is very good.

OSP Grapefruit Menthol is brilliant.

Fine L'Orange Noir Splash is my favourite.
