Floris Santal Aftershave for $29.99

I already have enough of it, but there is a new bottle of Floris Santal splash aftershave listed on eBay for $29.99 shipped, which is a great price.

Never smelled before. I'm sure it's great but is it a light/heavy sandalwood? Or is the name misleading?

For me it is a relatively light and somewhat sweet sandalwood.  Its scent is one of my wife's favorites; she actually likes it better than Creed Original Santal.

Thanks! Will have to track a sample down sometime. Sandalwood is about the only scent I don't have in a splash lol. Any of the artisans make one you recommend?

I have not used any of the artisan sandalwoods.  I've tried TOBS, D.R. Harris, Creed, and Floris, with the Floris being the best for me.  You might want to start a new thread asking for opinions about the artisan formulations.

IMHO its definitely a better scent than the Creed OV

One of the ladies at work has branded that scent "knicker-melter".
Very nice sandalwood scent indeed.

It's utterly fantastic and that particular bottle has sold.  It's sandalwood based but oh so much more.......

why Floris doesn't make a Santal shave cream I'll never know.......
