Measures 23mm x 39.5mm, has not shed other than the typical first lather to wash the brush. 
Used very lightly ... 7 times counting 2 test lathers. Some of the tips are just starting to curl so its probably just on the verge of breaking in.
Purchased specifically for the use of a then upcoming vacation but this shipped during the holiday mail cycle and didn't show up till 1 week after I left!

This is a cased Aristocrat Junior, flat base plate with Patent #430,030, per the B&B Aristocrat charting this should be a #53,  1949 Junior. Its door plating is perfect, doors open evenly and quite clean.  Very nice piece of quality British manufacturing.
